Have your say on trading plans for Milnerton and Atlantis

The City of Cape Town is encouraging the public to comment on the draft informal trading plans for Ward 32 in Atlantis and Ward 4 in Milnerton that are currently out for review.
‘Capetonians will have the opportunity to submit their comments on the proposed layouts and trading locations of the respective trading plans. The City welcomes comments as people have a vested interest in their communities and can help us to identify opportunities and constraints within each area. This will allow the City to reflect on the feedback received and amend layouts and proposals where possible,’ said Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos.
- Ward 4 consists of the following suburbs: parts of Milnerton, Joe Slovo Park, Phoenix, Summer Greens, Montague Gardens, Marconi Beam, Sunset Beach and Milnerton Ridge.
- Ward 32 consists of Atlantis Industrial, Avondale, Beacon Hill, Protea Park, Robinvale, Saxonwold, Sherwood and Witsand. The draft trading plan concerns the Atlantis Heritage Market on the corner of Starling and Swift Streets, Robinvale.
Comments for the Ward 4 trading plans are open now until 30 September 2022 while comments for Ward 32 will close on 12 October 2022.
Ward 32 residents will also be able to engage with City officials on the plan at an open day.

Residents can expect a commenting table, displayed layouts and commenting forms at the venue.
